Emotions and thoughts are not just about the mind. For the past twenty years or so, scientists have developed a vast body of work that proves that our emotions and thoughts influence our physical bodies and health. It is common knowledge that stress, negative emotions, and bad thought patterns lead to many physical ailments. Since companies lose many billions of dollars due to employees who are ill, the physical effects of mental states are a key concern for managers and employers. Quite simply, if negative emotions or thoughts lead to ill health it can affect the way that you feel and the way that you deal with the goals that you have set for yourself.

Studies have repeatedly shown that negative thoughts and negative emotional states (such as anger or resentment) lead to very real physical effects that may well result in serious long-term illnesses. Some conditions, such as ulcers and some cardiac problems are in fact directly linked to poor emotional states. Too much stress, worry, and anxiety can put a strain on the entire system. In fact, research has shown that stress, anxiety, nervousness, anger, and brooding can result in a number of very real physical problems, including insomnia, loss of appetite and subsequent loss of weight, shakiness, dry mouth syndrome, heart palpations, heart pains, chest pains, headaches, sore muscles, cramps, stomach upset, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, respiratory problems, and a host of other ills. Obviously, what goes through your mind is crucial to how you manage the goals in your life

It is not just your emotions and moods, but also your thoughts that can affect your goals. Whether your thoughts are positive or negative in fact influences how your lead your life. Positive thoughts have been linked very strongly to achieving goals. People with a positive attitude strive more often to achieve their goals.

Positive thoughts, especially thoughts such as “I can do this”, are more likely to relax you and give you the personal incentive that you need to be successful and reach your gaols. Affirmations have long been considered a very effective way of generating a positive attitude. The idea is to repeat, in a very positive tone of voice and with a high degree of conviction and positive emotion, statements such as “I am working towards my goals every day”. The idea is to use positive statements that are in the present.

Affirmations work even better when visualization is used. If you picture yourself attaining your affirmation, as well as just saying them, you even further convince your mind of the truth of the statement, and so you produce positive thought and action in your life and in the process of setting your goals.

In the fast-paced lifestyle of the 21st century, it is not surprising that sleep disorders are on the rise. There’s just a lot that needs to be done in our daily lives, career, studies, kids, the car that broke down, meetings, the outdoor hike… just thinking about it keeps you up all night.
But getting yourself sleep-deprived just won’t do. If you do, your career will be long gone before you know it, you’ll see D’s – nope, not the bra size – D’s on your paper, you’ll be short-tempered with your kids, you’ll never figure out how to change your tires, you’ll be having a heatstroke after a mile hike, and oh! You just missed your meeting!
Sleep deprivation does that and more. And there’s just no way you’re going to let that happen to you. Here are ways to achieve better sleep without compromising your daytime activities:
1. Develop good sleeping habits!
* Create a sleeping environment that is conducive for sleeping. Make sure your bedroom is dark, quiet, clean and well-ventilated, and a bed with comfortable mattress, linens and pillows.
*	Avoid eating and doing other activities like eating, working, working out, listening to the radio and watching TV inside your bedroom. It should be for sleeping and sexual activities exclusively.
*	Establish a regular sleep/wake cycle. Going to bed at the same time each night and getting up at the same time each morning does the trick. Or when you are on shifting work schedules, sleep with minimal light and expose yourself to bright light when you wake up. Avoiding daytime naps will also help you establish your sleeping routine.
* Do not stay in the bedroom if you are not yet sleepy. Get out of bed and do something relaxing like listening to soft, mellow music or hypnosis CDs or reading a non-stimulating book. Don’t stay in bed tossing and turning or worrying when you’re going to be able to sleep. It’s best to develop a bedtime routine such as hot baths and body massages before climbing to bed.
2. Watch what you eat!
* Finish dinner two to three hours before bedtime.
*	A light snack of bread, crackers, cheese or milk before bedtime may be helpful. An empty stomach can keep you from sleeping, but heavy meals should be avoided as well.
*	Spicy foods as well as sweets also interfere with sleep.
* Try not to drink anything at least an hour before bedtime to avoid having to get up at night to go to the bathroom.
*	Getting yourself a cup of lavender tea to help you relax, or a glass of tart cherry juice which naturally contains melatonin, a substance that helps promote sleep, may also be helpful.
3. Stay away from stimulants!
*	Caffeine-containing products such as most teas, coffee, colas, chocolates and chocolate-containing foods should be avoided. They’ll keep you up all night.
*	Smoking may be relaxing but it will you cause to wake up constantly all throughout the night causing disrupted sleep. Avoid smoking too close to bedtime.
*	Alcohol may make you drowsy but don’t be fooled. As the alcohol levels in body drops, so does its depressant effects. It can cause you to have nightmares and constant wakefulness. It can also make the apnea worse if you have it.
4. Exercise regularly! (It’s best to do it in the daytime or at least three hours before bedtime.)
You see, achieving better sleep isn’t that hard. You won’t have to resort to sleeping pills and other drastic methods to conk you out. Just follow the guidelines above and you’ll be off to dreamland in no time. Now, you won’t have to miss your meetings and your outdoor activities and will be able to spend more time bonding with your spouse and kids instead of bickering.
Enjoy life to the fullest! Don’t let sleeplessness get in the way. Remember, a good sleep promotes a better quality of life.

Weight Loss And Many Other Health Benefits

Today’s Baby Boomers are at the age where health concerns are at an all time high. People are more conscious about health issues and maintaining good health than ever before.

One great substance I have found to help me with depression and very low energy in the winter time is Green Tea. By drinking green tea my energy levels have increased dramatically. When I drink green tea on a regular basis I find I lose weight as a bonus.

In my studies I have found that Green tea has many health benefits one such as: reduces the risk of cancer by keeping the cells healthy. Drinking Green tea every day has antioxidants that help lose weight, reduces stress, stops depression, calms nerves, lowers cholesterol, lowers blood pressure and increases metabolism.

If you find that you do not like the blah flavor of traditional Chinese Green tea you will be happy to know that it comes in many different flavors.

Green Tea has been around for 4000 to 5000 years and was always known for its healing properties. It has just come to light in recent years. Next to water Green Tea is one of the three major non-alcoholic beverages in the world.

Traditional medicine has used Green tea in areas such as India, China, Japan and Thailand to help everything from controlling bleeding and helping heal wounds to regulating body temperature, blood sugar and promoting digestion.

What is the Secret to Green Tea you may ask? Well, Green Tea is charged with active natural ingredients called polyshenols, which are powerful antioxidants. These antioxidants in Green Tea fight your body’s free radicals.

These chemicals are believed to be linked to destroying the cell DNA which leads to cancer. Green tea and extracts, have been used to prevent and treat a variety of cancers, including breast, skin and stomach cancers. The antioxidants in Green Tea help block cancer by keeping the DNA to the cells safe. Green tea is usually brewed and drank as a beverage. Green tea extracts can be taken in capsules and are sometimes used in skin products.

Tooth decay! is even prevented by drinking green tea. Just as its bacteria-destroying abilities can help prevent food poisoning, it can also kill the bacteria that causes dental plaque. Green tea and green tea extracts have also been used for improving mental alertness, aiding in weight loss, lowering cholesterol levels, and protecting skin from sun damage. To my knowledge the only negative side effect reported from drinking green tea is insomnia due to the fact that it contains caffeine and can cause anxiety, irritability, upset stomach, nausea, diarrhea, or frequent urination some people. Coffee contains more caffeine than green tea and as in anything when using moderation and common sense it is safe for most adults.

Use this simple self-hypnosis process to quickly and easily relax in just ten minutes. Practice and soon you will be able to relax at will! A great way to help you fall asleep.

Some people find it easy to relax, others find it very difficult. This article is aimed at those who find it difficult. This process is excellent to use if you are having trouble falling asleep at night or just find it hard to switch off from the stresses of life!

Sit yourself down somewhere comfortable and relaxed where you are unlikely to be disturbed for a few minutes.

Step 1. Take a deep breath and hold it for a couple of seconds, then release it as slowly and steadily as you can. Then repeat this just one more time and as you let out the breath very gently allow your eyes to close.

Step 2. For the next couple of minutes focus on nothing but your eyelids. Allow them to relax as fully as they can. Imagine them becoming heavier and heavier over your eyes, picture them becoming relaxed. The eyelids have some of the smallest muscles in the human body and are the easiest to relax.

Step 3. After a couple of minutes picture, and feel, the relaxation in your eyelids spreading down your entire body from the top of your head to the tips of your toes in a flowing wave of relaxation and comfort. Then feel that relaxation double.

Step 4. Next, on each outward breath, say inwardly to yourself, while keeping your lips perfectly still, the word ‘relax’. Your breathing should stay completely unaltered. On every outward breath just think to yourself ‘relax’ and feel the stress and tension leaving your body.

Step 5. Now, as you continue to think ‘relax’ on each outward breath allow your body to slowly relax one section at a time. Start at the head and face, move down through the neck and shoulders and into the arms, hands and fingers. Let all the tension flow away from your body. Then move on to the back and spine, the chest, stomach, waist and hips. Finally feel the relaxation flow through your legs and on into your feet and toes. Each step of the way let your body relax deeper and continue to think ‘relax’ on each outward breath.

Step 6. When you feel fully relaxed enjoy the sensation for as long as you like, then when you are ready slowly open your eyes, take a short while to stretch and revive yourself and then move on with the rest of your day, feeling relaxed and energised!

Somnambulism or sleepwalking, as it is commanly called, is found to affect around 14 percent of children between the ages of five and twelve, at least once. A quarter of these children undergo more than one sleepwalking episodes. Sleepwalking is observed more among boys and less among girls. Many children who develop this sleep disorder overcome it as they grow up and their nervous systems become stronger. By adolescense, they are more or less cured.
1. What Happens during Sleepwalking?
Sleepwalking is a condition in which the body can move even though the brain is half asleep. Sleepwalkers commonly get out of bed and roam all over the house. Some of them even get dressed and leave the house. Sleepwalkers’ eyes remain open, and they can see what is in front of them. However, their expressions are blank and they are unable to respond either to conversation or to their names being called out.
Sleepwalkers are usually clumsy and prone to bump into things and knock them over things as they walk around the house. Usually a sleepwalking session lasts for a quarter of an hour; sometimes, it can go on for an hour or more than an hour. A child who is prone to sleepwalking usually begins walking in his or her sleep an hour or two after going to bed.
2. Sleepwalking in Children
Sleepwalking among children is due to a poorly developed sleep/wake cycle. In normal circumstances, the entire brain awakes at the same time. A sleepwalker’s brain, however, is different in the sense that only a portion of it wakes up at a time. The portion of the brain that manages mobility awakens while the portion that deals with cognition and awareness is still alseep. A sleepwalking child is actually fast asleep.
Children usually grow out of this tendency, and parents do not have to worry about it. Treatment is not required. All you have to do as a parent is to take the child gently back to bed. You do not have to awaken the child.
3. Sleepwalking in Adults
About one percent adults suffer from somnambulism. They need not have had this problem as a child. Sleepwalking in adults is due to complex problems such as anxiety, sleep fragmentation, stress, sleep deprivation, and also medical disorders such as epilepsy.
Unlike children, adults have to take treatment for this condition, and the type of treatment they have to take depends on the type of dangerous situations they are exposed to during their sleepwalking sessions. For instance, sleepwalkers who open the doors and walk on a street busy with traffic is in great danger while a sleepwalker who just walks around in the hall is not in any dangerous situation. Sleepwalkers can go in for self hypnosis, behavioral therapies, and prescription medication to treat their condition.
4. Protection of Sleepwalkers
Certain precautions should be taken to protect sleepwalkers from dangerous situations. Sleepwalking adults or children should ensure that they are in a safe place during their sleepwalking session. They should take care to see that they will not get injured during a sleepwalking session.
Parents should not keep any sharp or fragile objects in a child’s room. Lock the doors of a sleepwalkers room to prevent him or her from venturing out at night. Fixing a bell to alert a parent or caregiver if a child go out of the room is a great idea. Large glass doors or windows should be covered by heavy curtains to prevent sleepwalkers from trying to walk through them during their sleepwalking sessions.
Children who sleepwalk should be given ample protection till they outgrow this disorder. There is a possibility of them running into dangerous situations during their sleepwalking sessions.

If you’ve ever tried to do O.B.E.s or lucid dreams in the past but weren’t able to pull it off and you were left wondering if there was something you were missing, maybe there was some secret missing piece and if you only had that missing piece that things would be a lot easier, well here it is. In this article I’m going to show you the missing piece that I wish I’d known about when I first started.Congratulations! You’ve Found The Missing Piece! Here in Lucidology 101 Part 7 we’ll cover the “timer method”. This is a very powerful trick that allows you to cheat and easily trigger as many O.B.E.s as you want. I’ve read pretty much every book on O.B.E.s and I’ve tested every single method I could find. There really is no other method that gives faster results than this. In fact, it’s possible you’ll have your very first O.B.E the very first time you use this. That doesn’t always happen, but quite a few people have written in to tell me that this was the secret that got them over the edge to start having frequent O.B.E.s in just one night. At the end of this article I’ll show you how you can get a free copy of the Lucidology 101 O.B.E Explorer’s kit so be sure to read to the end for the URL.The Story So Far: Sleep Triggers To Fall Asleep Fast So far we’ve learned to put the body to sleep as fast as you can and enter a subconscious focus. You start out awake and alert, on the upper right and end asleep and in a subconscious trance on the lower left. But what we really want looks more like this…What You Want: Hover On The Awake/asleep Threshold What you want is to “hover on the awake/asleep threshold” so that you slip into a subconscious focus without losing too much awareness by slipping into deep sleep. This way your retain full awareness in your subconscious. The Main Problem With Tricking Your Body Into Falling Asleep You may be thinking, “easier said than done!” because what usually happens when people try to have an O.B.E is they just fall asleep and that’s the end of it.Spontaneous Lucidity While Asleep The solution most books give is to hope that you somehow magically become aware within the dream spontaneously. The idea is that by telling yourself over and over while you’re awake to become lucid you’ll eventually have lucid dreams just from force of habit alone. This is possible but it’s very unreliable. It takes months of practice to get this to work and even when you can do it, it’s always a matter of luck. You never know for sure if you’re going to have an O.B.E on any given night. What Can You Do That’s Reliable? Here’s the secret: what if you could cheat and manufacture your own lucidity trigger so that even if you fell completely asleep you’d still end up having an O.B.E?Our Secret Weapon Cheat: The Digital Cooking Timer It turns out such a secret weapon does exist. It’s called a digital cooking timer. The idea is to fall asleep like normal and don’t even try to stay aware. You set the timer to beep so it wakes you up a few minutes later. By waking up and falling asleep every few minutes without moving you’ve formed a safety net so that you don’t fall too deeply asleep but enter a subconscious focus. How To Use Hypnotic Fractionation To Have O.B.E.s Easily This uses a principle from hypnosis called ‘fractionation’. Hypnotic fractionation means that when you are put into trance and then are taken from that trance, the next time you enter trance you’ll enter it more deeply than before. That means that if you can enter even the slightest trance then you can enter a very deep trance just by going in and out of that trance over and over. This is how you can hover on the awake asleep threshold and ease your way into an O.B.E without really having to use a lot of practice or skill.Remember The “Roll Over Word” Sleep Command” Equation: Remember that everything we covered earlier about the roll signal still applies. This only works when you use the timer and do not move ever at any point. Simple, Proven Success Formula If you wake up and fall asleep 4 or 5 times in an hour without moving you’ll start to have spontaneous paralysis, O.B.E vibrations and O.B.E.s. However if you wake up and fall asleep twice, shift position, and then wake up and fall asleep 3 more times then it won’t work nearly as well.8 Steps To An O.B.E Using Hypnotic Fractionation So here’s the big picture in a nutshell. First you wake up and fall asleep 4 or 5 times without moving using a timer and the sleep commands from Lucidology 101 parts 3 and 4. This will put you in sleep paralysis. You then use movement-free reality checks which we’ll cover in part 8 to check that you’ve shifted into a nonphysical focus. Then you use an exit method to convert paralysis into an O.B.E or lucid dream. We’ll cover basic exit methods in Lucidology 101 part 12 and advanced exit methods in Lucidology 102.Timer Options To do this you have a couple options for timers including cooking timers, timer mp3s and the Lucidology Flash timer.Using A Digital Cooking Timer I started out using a $10 cooking timer and it works just fine. To use one of these, memorize the buttons so you can reset it using your thumb without looking at it. Sleep with it in one hand, move ONLY your thumb when resetting it and the rest of your body will stay in paralysis. Timer Mp3s Alternately, in your Lucidology explorer’s kit you get timer mp3s that contain the predefined timer setups. To get these, visit www.Lucidology.comA More Powerful Flash Timer Finally, you can use the Lucidology Flash timer which also comes in your free Lucidology lucid dream kit. The flash timer allows you to customize your timer setup and change the intervals between the beeps however you want.Ramp Timer Setup: The Reliable Workhorse Your timer setup has a giant impact on how many O.B.E.s you have. I’ve spent countless hours testing various timer setups and here is the most reliable workhorse setup. It’s called “ramp” and the intervals are 8 minutes, 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 20, and then 6 minutes repeating. Ramp Timer Setup: What To Expect Here’s what you can expect when you use the ramp setup. During the middle of the 20 minute intervals you’re likely to have lucid dreams and possibly spontaneous O.B.E.s. During the tail end 6 minute intervals you’re likely to have O.B.E.s. Here’s why…Waking Up The Same Time Every Day Using A Timer If you’ve ever used an alarm clock to wake up at the same time each morning you may have found that you started waking up 5 minutes before the alarm actually started beeping. You had conditioned the subconscious to expect the beep, but it does not like to be shocked awake. So its response is to wake you up before the beep. Ramp Works By Faking The Subconscious Out You can use this effect to your advantage by faking the subconscious out. The initial 8 minute interval is used for relaxation. After that the intervals start out short and increase in length, going from 4 up to 20 minutes. By the time you get to the 20 minute interval your subconscious is starting to expect another beep in the next 4 to 16 minutes. To avoid the shock the subconscious goes on alert at around 4, 8 or 12 minutes. However, during the 20 minute intervals those beeps never come. This is enough to make you become spontaneously lucid in the middle of a dream in expectation of the ‘phantom’ timer beep that never happens. The Phantom Beep Only Affects The Mind, Not The Body The phantom beep can also give you waking sleep paralysis because body continues to sleep and doesn’t care about the phantom beep. Are You Focused In The Dream Or In Your Body? Whether you get a lucid dream or O.B.E from this depends on where you’re focusing at the moment of the phantom beep: either in a dream or on your physical body. If you get a lucid dream your clarity level will likely be less than most O.B.E.s. However lucid dreams are often a lot more fun because they often start out in some kind of strange otherworldly area which is usually more fun to explore than the nonphysical version of your physical surroundings. However, O.B.E.s often have much higher clarity than lucid dreams. When you use the timer method you’ll end up with plenty of each so you can decide which you prefer.Tail-end O.B.E.s: The Other Half Of The Ramp The shorter tail end intervals usually result in O.B.E.s rather than lucid dreams. This is because of the hypnotic fractionation effect we mentioned earlier. O.B.E.s In Short Intervals: Why? During the short intervals you don’t have time to slip very deeply into sleep like you do with the long intervals. This causes you to hover much more closely on the awake asleep threshold so that when a beep comes you’re more likely to have a physical focus you can use for an O.B.E.How To Trick Your Body Into Falling Asleep This is the simplest way to trick your body into falling asleep and feel the paralysis wave. When the timer beeps, your body may wake up for a moment but as long as you stay perfectly still your body will create the paralysis wave and put itself to sleep after 5 or 10 seconds. This is also an excellent time to use the sleep triggers from Lucidology 101 part 4 to command the body into paralysis.Trick You Can Use Tonight To Have Your 1st Obe So here’s the actual method to use to have conscious sleep paralysis for the first time or even an O.B.E. 1.) Go to bed at 9 PM 2.) Get up at 4:30 AM 3.) Stay up for 45 minutes until 5:15 AM and avoid lights 4.) Go back to bed and do “Stop Drop And Roll” to start to fall asleep 5.) At the end of S.D.R set your timer to use a ramp timer session. Fall asleep and let the timer wake you up and put you in an O.B.E.Timer Method Disadvantages As good as this method is it does have two drawbacks. First is your sleep cycle. The second is false awakenings. The Timer Method & Your Sleep Cycle Getting up early in the morning to do O.B.E.s is effective but it can leave you tired the rest of the day. The solution is called “Inductionless O.B.E.s”. Inductionless O.B.E.s are my favorite style of accessing the subconscious because they allow you to have O.B.E.s without messing up your sleep cycle. This is an advanced method that we cover in Lucidology 102 Part 8. False Awakening Loops The second disadvantage the timer method has is actually because it’s so powerful. This side effect is called a false awakening loop in which you think you wake up physically but actually wake up into another O.B.E. You may have to wake up several times before you really do wake up in your physical bedroom again. How To Deal With The False-awakening Loop? To solve this you basically need a way to take the red pill and figure out where you are and what’s going on. This is called a reality check. And not just any reality check will do, you need a movement-free reality check so that you can do it without disturbing your trance. Lucidology 101 – Part 8: “The 4 Easiest Ways To Take The Red Pill” I’ve tested dozens of types of movement free reality checks and boiled them down to the 4 most reliable ones. Be sure to read part 8 next to find out what they are.

Cognitive therapy is first and foremost a psychotherapeutic approach which attempts to influence human behaviours and dysfunctional emotions. The methodology behind cognitive therapy is to analyse negative emotions and identify inaccurate and dysfunctional behaviours. The method is both goal-oriented and well-organised.

The theory behind this method was formed as a result of merging the works of Aaron T. Beck and Albert Ellis. The two theories that were merged to create this method were behaviour theory and cognitive theory. It is therefore now known as Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT). Albert Ellis first originated rational therapy which was a main step in the development of CBT. Aaron T. Buck was inspired by Ellis’ work and this led him to develop cognitive therapy.

In the beginning both of these theories were compared and there was an attempt made to determine which one was the best approach. However they were merged instead into one to form CBT. The creation of this joint theory has led to the development of successful treatments for panic disorders. CBT is also very good for the treatment of issues including: personality complexes, anxiety, mood, and substance abuse. Other psychotic issues can also benefit from CBT and it has been used to reduce some criminal behaviour as well.

After analysing negative emotions and identifying inaccurate and dysfunctional behaviour, CBT seeks to replace these harmful influences with more realistic and positive ones. Some of the therapeutic systems which make up CBT are: cognitive therapy, rational emotive behaviour therapy and multi modal theory. Techniques included in these systems include keeping a record of negative feelings, thoughts, behaviour and beliefs and learning how to accurately identify them. These techniques are practiced by the patients themselves under the monitoring of a therapist. CBT can help stabilize mood and treat conditions like bipolar disorder.

If there is a phobia of social situations, the same theory and methods are used however they are modified slightly for use in a group setting.

Clients can also use software programs to practice CBT. These programs can serve as an alternative to a face-to-face meeting with a therapist. If a therapist is unavailable, this means that a patient can still get the guidance and the counselling that they need. Some people who suffer from depression and loss may feel too afraid or may hesitate in talking to a person about their problems. In these cases CBT software may be the best solution in these cases.

Some of the main conditions which are treated by CBT include insomnia, mental disorders, mood disorders and panic disorders. With the help of a therapist, a client may also do some behavioural experiments in order to see how and if this would help them improve their quality of life.

CBT is also used with children and adolescents. There has been some remarkable work done in this area by Mark Reinikie and his colleagues. The “Friends Program” that was started by Paula Barrette is also a part of the CBT approach. The World Health Organization has recognized that this program is the best for the treatment of anxiety in children.

CBT is very similar to the “Scientist Practitioner Model” where the clinical practice and research work is done from a scientific perspective. This method places an emphasis on measurement.

There are some non-CBT therapists who criticize its methodology. Some further information on CBT (including some of the criticisms) includes:

It is important to realize that the effects of cognitive behavioural therapy will not be felt overnight. It can take considerable time and effort from the patient and the therapist in order to replace psychotic or negative behaviours.

“Logos” is a Greek word that means “meaning”. Logotherapy is the treatment of people who feel their life lacks meaning. Treatment is geared toward helping them to develop a sense of meaning in their lives and this meaning may be developed through fostering the idea of a purposeful life. Logotherapy may not appeal to everyone. But an increasing numbe of escientits

Logotherapy follows a few basic but important steps:

Viktor Frankl developed the concept of logotherapy. It is a therapeutic method however it seems to rely less on the overall feelings and thoughts of the patient. Frankl felt that our body relies on the spirit residing in it to motivate it and spur it on to other accomplishments. He felt that a person’s life must have purpose and some objective to accomplish. If this is not the case, then something is lost in that person’s spirit. In fact, Frankl felt that the worst thing a person could experience is the sensation of living a life with no purpose or direction.

This should not give you the impression that Frankl was talking about a religious experience or espousing a particular system of belief. However he did feel that there should be a focus which keeps that person moving and motivated. It is simply the meaning of life itself that man was created to discover. Frankl thought that people will have a fruitful life if they are able to recognize the beauty of the spirit inside them.

This method of therapy relies on patients being able to think freely, without prejudice or preconceived notions. Frankl felt that there did not need to be a physical involvement in a therapeutic process which was purely mental. There are three basic steps which Frankl felt were involved in the search for the meaning of life. They are:

Frankl felt, however, that unless the first two ways of establishing meaning were not available, suffering was not the best way to teach the meaning and value in life. Suffering can be an excellent method to teach different values and impart certain information but it is not the best way to learn about the meaning of life according to Frankl’s theories.

Frankl’s therapy is aimed at helping people recognize the meaning in their lives and living a happy life. By connecting with the people around us and communicating with them, it may be possible to make that person feel happy and valued and give them a sense of joy which will help them discover the meaning in their own lives.

Frankl’s approach works well on people who may not be interested in, or ready to undergo theory. This is a method which would allow multiple therapists to treat the patient as long as the patient has made a connection with the therapist. As the therapy continues and the patient gains more attention they begin to realise their own importance and find value in that way. A proper course of logotherapy requires patience and supportive behaviour from the therapist. One of the things that may be needed in this course of therapy is for patients to do the opposite of what may be difficult for them. For example, if someone suffers from insomnia, the therapist may tell them not to try to sleep intentionally.

This is because Frankl believed that people should want to do what they are doing. They should not simply perform an act because they feel obligated to. He believed that a person’s lifetime should be full of meaning and that is difficult to accomplish if you are performing different duties because it is expected of you. Frankl believes that people are blessed with a lifespan that allows them to accomplish things they want.

Frankl even coined a term for those people who progress through life with no feeling of meaning. People who were in this situation are often termed “the prisoner”. It is the belief of the logotherapy approach that people who are in this position are most likely extremely unhappy in their day-to-day lives.

On a daily basis, millions of people around the world deal with anxiety disorders, very often without realizing it. It usually starts with a terrible distress, feelings of unreality, heart palpitations, faintness and sweaty hands. Untreated, this brutal disorder claims our daily inner peace. We become haunted by thoughts of fear and find of ourselves at a point of no return it seems. Fortunately, an ex-sufferer, Joe Barry, had the genius to put together a program called Panic Away with the intention of helping hopeless people regain their worry-free lifestyle back.

Perhaps you have been given countless medications which should drastically reduce your anxiety to almost nothing, yet you were never told that these pills will not eliminate the panic episodes. The most astonishing truth is that your doctor will never propose a cost effective approach that can cure anxiety attacks permanently and naturally. The Panic Away technique is 100% natural and will restore your life to the care free person you were forever.

Let me mention that support from your surroundings, family members mainly and the confidence that you will overcome your condition plays a vital part in your recovery. A comforting word always boosts our confidence in anything we undertake in life.

The technique you are offered as a member can be used anywhere and everywhere. It is not hypnosis but rather an advanced cognitive therapy technique. Whether you may be wondering if it is beneficial to follow an extensive program, reading some resourceful information can definitely help handle any stress. Knowing what you are dealing with will help to better manage and eliminate your condition. The program will provide you some critical information:

• Learn how panic attacks build up.

• Learn the fact that what you resist will persist.

• Learn the skill to fight panic attacks effectively.

• Learn the truth of panic attacks, and the sensation of fear and panic, how panic attack CAN’T HARM you in any way!

• Learn the techniques to observe and label the sensation and thoughts; watch them flow through and move on.

• Learn how to reduce anxious thoughts and panic attack with simple drinking water.

• Learn the powerful skill of switching your focus from anxious mind to other part of your body.

• Learn how to keep yourself busy to reduce and relief your mind.

Panic Away will provide you with the tools to break away from that vicious cycle of anxiety often called “the anxiety thought loop”. Once you free yourself from this cycle, the anxiety will no longer be a worry. With an efficient approach, any endeavor is easier done. Indeed, research shows that advanced cognitive psychology is more efficient than medication.

The material is made easy to absorb and comprehend. The techniques are easy to apply in day-to-day life. One other big plus with the program is that coaching sessions can be set with Joe Barry if members request it.

If anxiety takes place frequently, do not let it dictate your life. Please look in to eradicating it fast and effectively. Panic Away will help you eliminate the fear of getting another panic attack. It will provide you with the tool to break that fearful cycle to regain your serene and confident lifestyle back
